the cinema HD craze.

its been a while since i last posted something lengthy and informative if not my first, but i thought i might give a bit more information to couples interested in the new cinema HD videos!

or if your new and been out of the loop, which i would imagine would be most of you, this is a little info about the latest craze for video and what you can expect from us or any other company introducing this new form of video-(cinema)

Anything in the form of cinema in the wedding industry right now would most likely represent the new form of shooting and editing styles - if you've been shopping around for sometime now, you may have come across a few terms like Canon 5D MKII DSLR or the Canon 7D DSLR, dont be alarmed its a good thing! because this equipment is the latest of video equipment on the market providing one of the best imagery money can buy, well for me anyway - now weather it is used properly and to it's full creative potential to achieve that beautiful cinema look is a different story.

from what ive seen of late, looking around most production companies are doing a great job with the shooting techniques and beautifully portraying the story in the editing - however as you would imagine their are going to be some companies presenting themselves that they have the exact same equipment, but unfortunately to say the least have not just quite caught onto its potential and what it can do for you, the couple.

just to retouch on the above equipment, i have had couples comment- isnt that a stills/photography camera? and i say of "course it is"

as a couple looking for video you need to know the difference between "traditional video" and the other being the new "cinema" form of video, in saying that, it is not only what your wedding day is shot on but also what does go into the editing process and the outcome.

So to sum it up: production companies presenting the "cinema" style form! you would most likely expect them to be shooting on any form of Digital SLR! and large range of attachable lenses,

anita and nick // a perfect match

// a Cinema HD Highlight

anita + nick were fun and loving couple who were cute to say the least - well, they say rain is good luck on a wedding day - immediately after the ceremony it began to pour, so we thought hey, why not head down to the pub for a drink?! So we found ourselves at one of Sydney's famous Beer joints - The Belgian Beer Cafe - Well, frankly we couldn't resist not to shoot once we were inside and besides us, our couple were getting right into the mood of things - guys, umm, you know its your wedding day right?

All Canon DSLR Gear used!
