even for full frame 35mm size, you really have to wonder! are all my megapixels going to the final print?
Well probably not! especially when using wide angle Zooms,
We always use to prefer using prime lenses or fixed lenses even during our film years,
but now with the latest high end sensors eg. our Canon EOS 1Ds MK111,
It's a whopping 21Megapixels!
with this small pixel pitch size, we are finding it hard to justify the use of even the high end
Zooms, especially in low light challenging conditions,
the difference in contrast & sharpness in prime lenses does make it all worth the while in investing and carrying around all those megapixels,
here are some simple brides portraits on Canons 100mm & 135 mm Prime lenses,
